Question about updating manager

I normally never update my stuff like manager or firmware etc...has there been any changes with sab? For instance i recently reinstalled manager cause ive been using the MW st for warzone for long time cause thats what i thought was suppose to use. Well recently found out was a warzone st so figured id try it well i had to just reinstall app to get it to show up.

Long story short now when i use the MW st for warzone it doesnt feel at all how it did aim assist wise. My biggest thing is. If sab over time has been changed would just updating the manager affect that? Sab use to dramatically help me move around the aim assist bubble while still staying on target. The myth was it was only activated when strafing or moving but after people tested on gtuner that wasnt the case the sab worked even if you were standing still an just moving mouse. Im horrible about rambling. Has sab been messed with at all? Only other thing i can think of is the aim mechanics changed idk

SAB hasn't changed. The look mechanics in the Smart Translator or game may have changed, which accounts for the different feel.

Interesting....booted up my gtuner to see an oddly enough before on ads page if i put sab up the numbers never fully stopped hence the sab i guess causing that...now they do fully stop after moving mouse. So im thinking sab definitely changed. Which sucks cause imo how sab was..was probably one of the best features as in my opinion it gave the closest to controller like behavior which made dealing with aim assist very nice. Now no matter what my bubble is just super stiff. From the looks of what my gtuner is telling me it looks like now the sab feature is doing what u guys always said it did in the past (only activated when wasd is being activated like strafing)

Shoot even back then sab off bottomed out the values to 0 now it doesnt even do that so it had to have been messed with sadly

What manager version were u on before and after? Also did u update the firmware aswell?

sadly idk what version i was on been some time since i updated it..i didnt mess with firmware...maybe something else changed

You could try installing the older managers like the 2018/2019 ones on your pc and see if there’s still a difference when u make a new mw st on those managers

If it changed (it hasn’t), SAB would be affected by a firmware update, not a Manager update.

Manager reads and writes values to or from the XIM device when opening or saving a game config, but has no effect on input or output. That’s all handled on-device by the firmware.

From memory, there was only one SAB update post-release (after a few test builds) to add SAB Off as an option. How SAB functions and the range of values it uses hasn’t changed in 3+ (?) years.

Ya idk its odd to me i remember when i read about it a long time ago i even checked sab with my gtuner an off put the values at 0 an when sab on they stayed at numbers randomly...now checking gtuner they seem to not be how they use to so ya idk..is what it is 🤷‍♂️ Ill have to figure something out

Ya i could try for heck of it. I do remember some time ago when i got my pc i tried using config on pc i couldnt get it to work so i just went back to using phone. I may give it s try though. But if what antithesis says is true about manager not affecting it then it wont matter but i may end up giving it a try

If i also remember correctly this was a huge issue people had with xim even if you go to old managers pretty sure ur still stuck using the newest st

When u open the old manager it still forces you to download update which id assuming forces you to use the old st

It’s forcing you to download the newest st available on the database, just on the older manager version
