Also, I just checked and Overwatch:E-X1.1 no longer exists. If you compare it to the versions today, it will definitely be different. The one today is Overwatch:E-X1.2

The ex1.2 for Xbox is terrible, but it’s fine for PS4, and none of the high sr ximmers use it they all use the ex1.1

If you get a different result, then, it's not the translator or your XIM. The diff tool doesn't lie.

It is the same firmware you use with these two STs?
Also is this exclusive to OW or do your other games also feel different if you create two configs with each XIMMR file?

Yes tested on the same firmware. So I tried apex legends in the firing range, same settings and the one from may 21 felt like it had more aim assist when I was shooting at it and then I swiped across the bot to test the slowdown which was also stronger. However I don’t really play apex so it’s harder for me to say if they are different but I think they are. The may 21 also has more aim assist in overwatch so this might be true for apex

Is the same phone and XIM Manager version used for both files? Has any of the files been renamed in XIM Manager? I ask because Mist has stated if you rename an old config in XIM Manager, it can cause the old config to be automatically upgraded to a newer Smart Translator version without you even knowing it.

If your game's support has been updated it's necessary to create a new config after downloading the update. Once the updated config is created you can then rename or delete the old config from the config's Identity page.

Maybe importing an old config can also cause it's Smart Translator version to be automatically upgraded. Does anyone know the answer to this?

Translators aren't automatically updated. You'll see a notification that it's old, but, if you have replaced the database (like what is happening here) then you won't get the notification since as far as Manager is concerned, it is "current".

Are you comparing the results with the same ingame settings?
I have heard that for example OW in 60fps performs quite different to OW in 120fps when using a XIM. FPS itself do not affect the ST, however both versions may run on a different aim mechanic.

Yeah exact ingame settings, I guarantee if someone else tried the same ximmr files they would experience the same thing
