[RESOLVED] XIM4 not connecting to PlayStation after hard drive replacement.

I had to replace the hard drive in my PS4-Pro.  I upgraded to a Samsung EVO860 SSD.
Every time I attempt to connect the XIM4 to the PlayStation (the same easy I have done since 2018 on the same PlayStation as well as a previous PS4-Slim) the XIM does not get recognized.  The native DualShock controller works fine, but the XIM4 does not connect.

Can I get a bit of guidance with this new to me problem.

UPDATE:
I have reset the XIM4 to factory and installed the latest firmware.  I have also installed the latest XIM Manager on my iPhone.  The XIM4 still will not connect to the PlayStation.

Make sure to set Communication mode to Use USB Cable in PS4 > Settings > Devices > Controllers.
