Cronus Zen does not directly support XIM devices and there are problems using the two.
For example, Zen functions at 10ms by default (4.5ms at fastest) and will cause input lag and USB desync with XIM APEX at 500 or 1000Hz. You also can’t use a DualShock 4 V2 on APEX when combining with a Cronus and the Zen may crash as a result.
Like Zen, Titan Two also offers Gamepacks & mod scripts, is faster (less than 1ms) & more advanced (16-bit) than Zen (8-bit) and has dedicated support for XIM APEX at all Response Rates. It has no problem working with XIM 4, APEX and NEXUS.
Titan Two’s creator invented the GamepadProxy & Cronus before parting ways and developing Titan One is opposition. CronusMAX is a clone of Titan One and uses code stolen from Titan One in its app and firmware (proven in court when Cronus tried to sue Titan). So that means all CronusMAX GPC scripts also work on Titan devices. Zen Gamepacks and scripts don’t work on Titan Two, but there are very few of them by comparison.
He also created the GPC language that runs Cronus and Titan One mods, as well as GPC2 for Titan Two. Zen is incapable of running GPC2 and is a speed downgrade from the much older CronusMAX.
Long story short - Titan Two is a better, faster, more capable device than Zen and works with all XIM devices. Cronus sees Zen as a competitor to XIM for m/kb (which is laughable), whereas XIM and ConsoleTuner see themselves as complementary and work together to solve problems like PS5 compatibility.
