IMPORTANT:
If you received XIM4 Manager for iOS as an automatic update from the App Store or if you are installing it to use with a XIM4 you just purchased, your XIM4 may not have the correct firmware to use it. Please follow the firmware upgrade instructions and special Bluetooth pairing instructions below.
To start using
XIM4 Manager for iOS requires a few different steps compared to other platforms.
Before you begin, you must install our latest
firmware that supports iOS (this requires a Windows PC or Mac to upgrade). Please follow the included instructions about how to upgrade your XIM4. You must also be running
iOS 8 or above.
If you haven't done so already, please check out our

Quick Start Guide for setup instructions. When performing the
pairing steps,
please see below.
To pair your XIM4 to your iPhone or iPad device, make sure your
Bluetooth radio is ON.
Your XIM4 is
NOT paired using Bluetooth Settings.
To pair, launch
XIM4 Manager for iOS and then:
- While Manager displays "Connecting ..."
- Press the P button on your XIM4
- Wait 10-15 seconds for your XIM4 to pair
Once paired, you won't have to do it again.
