Nexus stick stiffness? How will these compare to Xbox controllers?  (Read 335 times)

I searched but didn't find anything about this. And I get it that the motion control is the draw here, but using the sticks at least some of the time seems to be necessary.

Personally, the stiffer the better for me. My old Razer controllers with the adjustable stiffness (I went through 6 or 7 of them because they always @#$% the bed in less than 4 or 5 months) were the the most accurate I had ever been.

Will the Nexus use same sticks as Playstation and Xbox?

The sticks are around the same as Xbox One controllers. Not knowing the exact model of X1 sticks, the tests I've done where the sides of the sticks from both controllers are pressed slowly against each other, sometimes NEXUS "wins" and sometimes the X1 controller does.

NEXUS feels like an Xbox One controller in the hand, including the sticks.

Nexus is about the same as an Xbox controller.

I'm someone that always wanted to find the perfect stick tension. To the point that I used to take apart the analog sensor modules and literally craft and design springs. I even sold the mods on eBay for a bit. With NEXUS though I'm so much less pick about this because of the stick curves. Trust me, as soon as you can perfectly calibrate the deadzone making it small as possible without drift, and have a fully customized curve to your preferences, you'll be more accurate on the sticks then you've ever been!
