Xim apex config settings for analog joystick

Getting an azeron compact, was wondering if there are any recommended settings to use in the hip config with the joystick.

Should I even use settings like smoothing/steady aim/boost and ballistic curves with an analog in hip?

None of those settings apply to analog input. They’re all right stick (mouse) rather than left stick (Azeron).

There are some settings for analog devices, but none of them are needed, except maybe changing axes if setting up wheel menus to use Azeron instead of a mouse. There’s a tutorial on XIM Central YouTube channel for that (it’s not specific to Azeron).

All you need to do for Azeron is calibrate its analog stick in Azeron Software, then setup your Actions in XIM Manager.

Thanks

Also, does the main hip sensitivity have any effect on the joystick movements or does it not do anything with an azeron?

Aim sensitivity is all right-stick / mouse. It doesn’t affect left-stick / Azeron.
