Yea I believe it’s working but they just want to be sure there isn’t too much lag. Hopefully we get some great news soon!

Hold your horses boys. As mentioned, this dongle has caveats.

It's a wireless Remote Play client. That alone is cause for concern as it's very likely that almost all of us will have more lag than we would consider acceptable with a XIM.

Wait and see how it plays out when Od1n has a chance to test it, but ethernet Remote Play from PC, Mac or PS4 will be faster and more reliable.

Yeah this is disappointing to me personally, I can't see this being optimal for competitive gaming. My series x arrives on Monday anyway but it's a shame , I'd hoped they had cracked the encryption but this solution doest look ideal to me. More a workaround I guess. My ps5 will remain for its amazing exclusives but Xbox will be the xim king.

2.4GHz isn't inherently worse than 5GHz for data transmission. Hell, it actually has some advantages.

Your point is about congestion, I suspect, and I get what you're trying to say.

Somebody, please give us something. I've tried to be patient all this time but please give us something. Is there any hope? I've played last night some Vanguard with my friends and I wanted to pull my brains out. I used to have a 2.0 k/d in Cold War with 20+ nucleare and now I barely go positive. I miss playing on 120Hz. I now play the ps4 version of Vanguard, but it seems to be miles away from the Ps5 version. I am just wondering if I should go back on controller, or just wait a couple more weeks for a solution. Please give us something.

Just use remote play with a wired connection, it works amazingly well nowadays! :)

Still waiting for the adapter to arrive, Fedex wanted to deliver it on Friday but its still not here. Corona can cause delays they said, maybe itll arrive on Monday.

Yes all wired here and really don’t notice any difference :)

Extremely happy with it.
