Glad we can finally talk about this. NEXUS has been in development for 3 or 4 years. With next-gen consoles supporting more AAA titles natively, OBsIV felt it was time to offer something for controller users.
I am a die-hard m/kb user and was very sceptical about motion aim as it sucks hard on PS Vita, Wii, Wii U, Switch, Steam controller, DualShock & DualSense etc. NEXUS however is very, very slick by comparison.
I've gone from completely useless with a controller to competent thanks to NEXUS' motion aim. NEXUS works beautifully with Aim Assist, and recoil is dead easy to control by simply tilting the controller forward.
Bad controller users like me are finally going to feel comfortable gaming from the couch. Good controller users are going next-level with this thing in their hands!
All XIM 4 and APEX STs work with NEXUS. The PC STs you've seen pop up lately are designed for NEXUS but also work with APEX and XIM 4.
NEXUS won't completely replace APEX yet for me in online multiplayer games as I'm far more experienced with m/kb, but I can at least compete with controller users with a NEXUS. I've dropped APEX for all single-player gaming as NEXUS is so much easier to setup on the desk or couch and is an absolute blast to use
