[RESOLVED] Series x controller not recognised in xim manager  (Read 159 times)

Hi ive updated to new firmware and purchased a anmeil usbc cable but xim manager wont recognise the controller.. any ideas peeps will a wited xbox one controller work if i have to ill buy one as i cant seem to get series x controller to work tryed multiple cables now charge and read ones thx in advance

Welcome to the community. First, the controller itself may have an update available, there have been a few since it's release.

The firmware update can be done using an Xbox or PC.

Next, did you update using the latest firmware and latest Manager from the download section of the forum? If so this build doesn't support your controller. The XS controller is supported by the beta firmware and beta Manager. Updating to these builds should help. If you would like to test our latest beta please visit the link below. Hi thanks for the reply.. controller says its up to date here are the firmware versions and manager versions i have.
Firmware-5.0020200.307
Xim manager-5.0020190804
 But still not showing i removed batteries connected straight to series x also vibrates and light comes straight on but when connected to xim hub light does not come straight on i have to press the xbox button to get it to light up
Usb c cable is anmiel is a high speed data line cable
Dont know what else to do any ideas pls thx shain for your time and effort

Ok thx i thought  i had latest beta installed ill do the one youve reccomended n get back to you tomorrow cheers so the one i had in the firmware above post wasnt compatablile with aeries x controller that correct?
