Cronus will have the same problem. No-one can bypass the DualSense requirement and the communication protocol can’t be cracked because all packets are encrypted and timestamped.

XIM APEX never fully supported PS5 and no new game support was promised. It can still be used by Remote Play in all PS5 games using a DualShock 4.

We’ve been warning about this happening on PS5 for over a year. If you want next-gen game support for XIM, get an Xbox.

XIM was never marketed as being compatible with PS5. As above, Cronus won't help you either. CoD Vanguard will support native KBM on PS5 so you're not totally screwed, you'll just have to learn that if you must play KBM on Vanguard.

Dude you have to realize, XIM was an alternative you had... now you don't, move along. If you are mad at someone, channel that anger to Sony no customer friendly tactics.

Now if native mouse and keyboard comes for your go-to game, then you still have the option and some type of experience with mouse aim. Sucks for those which shooter games it won't offer M&KB support like the new Battlefield.

I think its just a matter of time when Sony will allow 3rd party controllers for Playstation 5, sure they will be "special Playstation 5 controllers" but either way it should be in pipeline, so I wouldn't let my hopes down yet.

Someone said Saints Row Remastered also doesnt work, but it hasnt been confirmed by another person yet i think.

Probably because the list of DualSense only games mainly uncluded relatively unpopular games so far.
With the new CoD game that chould certainly change though.

Yes of course I have to move on if the XIM team doesn't manage to find a solution.
But besides me, hundreds/thousands (don't know the customer numbers) of Playstation players will gradually get rid of the XIM device and stop buying it.
It's the end for XIM on Playstation if no workaround is found.

Sure you can just tell me now: then get the hell out of here.

But in my opinion it would be smarter to find a solution - both for the Playstation players of XIM and for the further business for XIM.
