[ACTIVE] My xim isnt working

My xim is not working. today i came home from work and my xim had arrived with my keyboard and mouse. i went to plug it in to my ps4. everything seemed fine until I went to the xim app to make keybinds. i pressed on it to change and it said "listening" so I pressed a button on my keyboard to see if it would work, and nothing happened. i also tested my mouse out and nothing changed too. i installed the latest firmware and factory reset my xim and it still isn't working.          Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the community. There's more than one cause for this but it's usually setup related and can be fixed. To help fix the problem can you please go through the list linked below and share the results from each step? This may also resolve the issue.

Some of the results will pass assuming that your non-XIM devices are working normally. If it does not resolve the problem then we can use the combined results from each numbered step to find a solution.
