- SLEH-00628 works when connected straight to PS5.
- Controller communication method is USB.
- XIM4 has worked flawlessly with PS4 (did not try with SLEH-00628).
If you want to play PS5 games with a XIM 4, you'll need a Titan Two and your Nacon Compact controller.

Ah, OK then. So from what I gather PS4 games on PS5 work with PS4 origin controller and Xim4, and PS5 games on PS5 work with Apex and a 3rd party PS4 controller (preferably with one confirmed working).

I guess I should consider getting the Apex then. Maybe a lifetime of about 6,5 years is quite enough for the previous model in use  :). Thanks!

Just to confirm. I got the Apex today and it works like a peach atleast on Cold War (PS5) and Nacon Compact SLEH-00628.

I have SLEH-00552. It’s called the Nacon Revolution Unlimited Pro.  Seems to work on some things, like Fortnite PS5 version, but cannot get it to work on SharePlay. Can anyone confirm those others work on the SharePlay app specifically?

No, it seems Sony have started blocking the 3rd party controller workaround :/

Hi all,

Got one today : SLEH 00470
With Xim apex.
I can confirm it is not working at all.
Did all the updates : Manager : 5.00.20190719
                                 Firmware : 5.00.20200307
Switch my ps5 to full cable usb.
Controller not recognized at all.
Is there smth else i can try ?

Your firmware is outdated (2020 March) and your XIM Manager is from 2019 :o

You need to update your XIM with the update tool.

Hey guys! First of all this is probably my first post! You're my fav community - kudos to you all, deepest thanks and regards!

My Manager and Xim versions are the latest beta - I'm on PS5. I play mainly Apex Legends and CoD from times to times.

I have SLEH-00628 (just got it out of the box) and I put it where my DS4 was plugged - it said "you can't play PS5 games with this controller". Game is Ghost of Tsushima. I just wanted to test and not download 300-400 GBs of CoD just to see if it works.

So what could the problem be? Is this because the game is not supported? Should I update the controller firmware in some way? I think I'm using hole 3 of the xim usb hub so this one should be correct?

Not that the controller is very expensive but I hate buying the wrong stuff.

Basically right now, new PS5 specific games are not working with 3rd party controllers.  Ghost of Tsushima PS5 version won't work, should for the PS4 version of the game so give that a try. If so, then you could play PS4 version of COD games.
