Somehow it seems different. For some, the Nacon Compact Controller seems to work without problems and for others it does not. As I said, I always plug mine into the Xim Apex as soon as it boots up, because otherwise I sometimes have the problem that the Xim Apex does not recognize the controller and the controller does not switch on. The apex then lights up in white and the controller is off.

I can't say what the Nacon Pro Revolution V1 / 2/3 looks like.

Just registered to say thank you guys so much for the amazing work you have done on this device. I was really skeptical when I bought it now over 2 years ago but I have been using this thing at least once a week (much more usually though) for 2 years now and the fact that it supports 4 of my consoles is amazing. Honestly wouldn't even own these consoles if it wasn't for this device.

P.S. Hate your anti-spam verification though lmao. 4 checks is a bit much.

Welcome to the community. Unfortunately it's needed to cut down on the spam the site receives. The captcha checks go away with a few more posts, it used to be 10.

Is there support for the Corsair K100 keyboard in this firmware? I just got the keyboard and it won’t work with the current release build.

Does it work with prior builds? If not, can you see if you can enter "BIOS mode" on your keyboard (Corsair keyboards have this feature because their keyboards tend to be non-standard).

Hello,

is it possible that the Download Links for latest firmware are not working? When i click on the links nothing happens on my Laptop and on my PC too. It shows a new window for a second and then its closing immediately.

Is here anyone who could help me?

Thanks

If you are using chrome, it blocks the .exe as it can't "secure download" it.  Right click, "save target as" will get aroudn the safety measures.

No, I tried BIOS mode too with no luck. I was wondering if support was added in this build.

This BETA firmware enables:
● Support for Xbox Series X/S controllers on both Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles.
● Support for PlayStation 5 through a limited set of PlayStation 4 3rd party controllers.
● Support for the XIM Universal Games Database system used by all versions of Manager going forward.

Changes since last BETA:
Added support for XIM Universal Games Databases.

FEEDBACK: Please help us test this new support and provide feedback here (even if you are gaming on an Xbox One or PlayStation 4).

COMPATIBILITY: This firmware can be used with all versions of XIM APEX Manager back to 20180402. However, to add a Config for game designed specifically for a next-gen console, you must be on the latest Beta Manager.

Xbox Series X/S Requirements
Xbox has released patches to address spontaneous shutdowns experienced by owners of the console. You may need to force your Xbox to download the update:

Go to Settings on your Xbox Series X/S, then, System and then Updates and make sure you are current.

PlayStation 5 Requirements
Unlike support for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 where you use a DS4 and DS3 respectively as your console controller on your XIM APEX, PlayStation 5 support requires the use of specific 3rd party PlayStation 4 controllers (not a DS5, DS4, or DS3 controller).

Most PS4 3rd party controller should work, however, the following controllers have been tested and known to work (remember to plug into port "..." on your hub):

@play Wired Compact
Horipad 4 FPS
Horipad FPS Plus
Hori Fighting Commander
Hori Mini Gamepad (*)
Mad Catz SFV Arcade Fightstick Alpha
Mad Catz TE2
Nacon Pro Revolution V1/2/3
Nacon Compact Controller (**)
Razer Raiju
Vivitar LVLUP Gaming

(*) Requires the controller be connected to your hub after your XIM has been connected to your console and initialized.
(**) Mixed working/not working reports for this controller.

If you try a different 3rd party controller, please let us know how it works so we can keep this list current. We will work to add support for non-functioning 3rd party controllers if we can.

When creating Configs for your PlayStation 5, select PlayStation 4 in Manager as the console.

FYI before anyone starts giving suggestions or solutions: I am using update to date firmware and apex manager iOS app, set my primary connection method as wired on console, and a verified 3rd party controller.

I am having issues with keeping a consistent connection of my controllers that I use with the XIM Apex. I am currently playing on Playstation 5 and I use a Nacon Wired Compact PS4 Controller as my 3rd party controller. I have two main controllers that I use for gaming: a SCUF Infinity Pro (basically a DualShock 4 with paddles) and an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Here are the issues I currently have when I use the Console Controller Crossover configuration.

For the SCUF Infinity Pro:
I can successfully make a wired connection, however this will cause some kind of artificial input on the right thumbstick. And that results in the output staying stuck in a rotation (basically all I can see is my character continuously spinning clockwise. This problem goes away if I change to a wireless connection. I've tried adjusting the deadzones and sensitivity, but it seems like using a wired connection is no longer a feasible option and I have to go wireless.

For the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2:
The first time I connected this to my PS5, I followed all of the required steps (plug 3rd party controller in port 3, wait for the 3 flashing green lights in XIM, use Console Controller Crossover with the PS4 profile) and this worked until I swapped to a wireless connection. Upon switching to wireless, it appears that I can't go back to wired connection because the XIM Apex isn't able to detect the Xbox controller, however the Apex manager app shows that its connected along side the 3rd party controller. I press all the buttons on my xbox controller, but no input is detected. Now I have to basically delete my configs, reset the xbox controller and repeat all the steps as if I am making the wired connection for the very first time.

I did notice that the Console controller crossover configuration doesn't allow you to re-map the Guide button on the xbox controller with the actual guide button. By default the mapping shows it as blank, basically that means if you press the guide button nothing will happen. And I think is why the controller won't be detected if you switch from going wireless to wired. I keep pressing the guide button, the controller is obviously turned on, but hasn't established a connection with the XIM Apex nor the console.

For the SCUF Infinity Pro, all of the buttons are able to be remapped, except the share button (take screenshot/save clips). Again, by default, this is left as blank so I tried remapping the share button with the actual button, but nothing happens, Apex manager just shows "listening" and no input is detected when pressing the share button. This is inconvenient because if want to take a screenshot, I have to put down my Scuf and grab the 3rd party controller and use the share button on that which does work.

I am sorry for the long post, but I feel like these issues might be common among other people. I paid $125 for this device, with the expectation that I would be getting somewhat of a polished product with minimal issues. However I am forced to come up with my own solutions that are time consuming and inconvenient.

I'm sorry you are having issues and I understand your frustration. Can you tell us if these issues happen when not on PS5 (such as on PS4 or Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S)? It would help to know this since PS5 support is a preview and it's something that isn't officially supported.
