not sure if this was already mentioned, but the "HORI Horipad FPS Plus for PS3/PS4" is working fine for me.

the download link for mac is not working please fix  https://imgur.com/a/MYdqtCm

Much like when you try to install any other software that isn't signed by Apple you have to right click on the executable file and click open, then you will get another option to open the file.

Installed absolutely fine here on a Mac.

Strange, it is signed by Apple. Thanks for pointing that out, we will look into it.

Just a quick question...

Is compatibility with the DualSense 5 something that's being worked on, or will it fundamentally never be a thing?

Just wondering whether to wait for it to become compatible, or just take the plunge and buy one of the 3rd party controllers.

they are waiting for the new 3rd party controllers for ps5 cuz there is nothing to do with dualsense. Rn the only solution you can use is getting the cheapest 3rd party controller for ps4 you can find on the market.

Edit: I solved this issue. This firmware is working fine for me with Nacon Compact

Could someone help me? I have the Nacon Wired Compact Controller and cannot get it to work with the PS5. I change the setting under controller devices to usb from bluetooth and then connect it the usual way. I have the keyboard/mouse and Nacon Compact Controller connected to the 3 usb hub which then connects to the xim apex. The Nacon wont even turn on when connected to the usb hub. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for your help in advance!

Did you connect the controller directly to the PS5 first? did you get the prompt of "who is using this"? Just to make sure the controller works :)

Also I don't think the USB/Bluetooth setting applies to wired only controller devices.

I plugged my Hori wired controller, never had to change any settings. actually I can switch between controllers on the fly, just need to press the home button.

also are you in the latest beta FW...and lastly are you plugging in the controller to far right port (...) after the XIM Apex is fully initiated.

try some of these things if you did not already...fingers crossed for you man!!!!

Nacon Pro Revolution V 1/2/3 does not work for me. Can't get it to work after following instructions. When I launch the game, I get the message that the controller is not compatible or something...the same message when using a PS4 controller.

I also have a different usb controller that I used on my ps4 whenever my batteries died, and that one gets the consistent disconnect very 10 min or something that many others have.

COMPATIBILITY: This firmware can be used with all versions of XIM APEX Manager back to 20180402. However, to add a Config for game designed specifically for a next-gen console, you must be on the latest Beta Manager.
Games specifically for e.g. PS5 like Demon Souls needs the beta manager, but a PS4/PS5 game with separate binaries, like Destiny2, for each platform does not? Correct?

Yes the controller works fine when just plugged into the PS5 by itself. As soon as I hook it up to the apex the nacon compact controller won't even turn on and to make things weirder I get a headphones symbol on the top corner of my PS5 thinking I connected headphones when I dont have headphones connected at all. Very frustrating.

Last thing if anyone has run into this issue, the PS5 and PS4 think the Nacon Compact Controller is a usb headset when it is connected to the Xim Apex. When it is just plugged in by itself it works perfectly. As soon as you plug it into the Xim Apex, the Playstation consoles think its a USB headset and not a controller, hence the controller wont even start when trying to activate. Has anyone run into this issue thanks again. My last ditch effort trying to have some success.
