Gaming Keybaord suggestions
« on: 11:04 AM - 09/03/08 »
In preparation for the XIM360 I have bought a few new items (gaming mouse, xbox360 to vga output) but I have held out on getting a gaming keyboard I am thinking about buying the WolfKing warrior but didn't know if it was a quality gaming keyboard or if there were any similar that were better.

I have been looking at the Cyber Snipa Gamepad for a while now. From what I have read it has received good reviews. I think I will end up buying it. Its only $24.97 on Tigerdirect. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2945405&CatId=141

It's about that same price on Newegg.com and I think their reputation and customer service is way above tigerdirect.  I ordered my Cyber Snipa v2 yesterday and it comes tomorrow for around $25
lol, i consider the internet like xbox live.  If i'm not saying i had sex with your mom i have to be calling you stupid :)

The Saitek CCU has an analog stick on the side of it which is supported by xim1 via xae and xim2 natively. It frees up four buttons to one thumb and is also pure analog goodness.

Thanks the Saitek CCU looks pretty sweet and is only 5 more bucks so I will probably go with that.

I just found the Belkin Nostromo and was wondering if that also was native with the xim360?

I recommend getting something with more raised up keys like standard keyboard keys. It may just be personal preference but I don't think that the low set ones like used in laptops are good for gaming.

Listen to him
I've had the CCU for a while now (for PC gaming) and now that I've finished my XIM2 I have been using it foe all FPS titles and I have to tell you 3 fingers on wasd < 1 thumb on analog

Hey OMG off topic, how do you assign AWSD movement to the ministick (for pc gaming), I cannot seem to figure it out.
