series X controller
« on: 08:06 AM - 01/14/21 »
i have seen posts about using the old controllers on the series x with xim4 with success, however i am having issues with the micro usb connection on my old controller (on xb1x) so i upgraded to the new Series X controller with the more solid usb-c connection. i got everything hooked up, and xim4 does not see the controller and i am disappointed i didn't check here before purchasing. I see a firmware update for apex addressing this, is this also in the works for xim4? i am ready to test.

Sorry, XIM4 doesn't support the new consoles or controllers. It was recently said that XIM4's memory is almost maxed, there wouldn't be enough space for the changes needed for this kind of support.

I had XIM 4 and it worked flawlessly with Xbox Series X and an old Xbox One controller. I upgraded to XIM Apex and use a new controller now.
