[ACTIVE] XIM4 Disconnect Issues  (Read 149 times)

[ACTIVE] XIM4 Disconnect Issues

Console: PS4
XIM Manager Ver: 4.00.20160405
Xim Firmware Ver: 4.00.20170103


XIM4 seems to be disconnecting but staying active? I can see that the lights still stay active on the XIM4 and kb&m, if I open the XIM manager, I can still change profiles with hotkeys on my keyboard (only when connected with the XIM manager) however thats the only thing I can do. While having the xim manager on, I can press buttons on the keyboard and I can see them coming up on the XIM manager, however it not registering throughout the game.

Any idea what the issue here could be?

1.Save your configs in a text file or another way convenient for you. 2.Install XIM4Flash-20161228-STEADYAIM3 (Only not the latest firmware for XIM4 - This is important!)

Testing other data cables is a goos place to start. Does apex change its light activity when this happens?

Could you please share your setup so we can learn more about the issue? Please include both the brand and model.

keyboard:
extras: extended usb cables, third party usb hub, usb switch, titan or cronus device?

XIM4 not Apex
Mouse: g502
Keyboard: Logitech K120
Extra: third party usb hub, samsung usb cable to controller.

Update:

Have changed all the cables again, powering the XIM4 straight from the ps4 port and it still disconnects. Roughly 10mins of playing and then the XIM inputs die(but lights still stay on)

Updated to this, played for about 8mins and again it is disconnecting yet the XIM is staying alive.

Playing cold war on ps4, can see that the controller just doesnt lose connection but it freezes and whatever direction I was running in continues runnnig that way.

Did you try the default config? Reset the controller settings there is a button in the back, try( ՞ਊ ՞)☝

Updated to the 2020 update and it seems to have fixed everything.
I did also update my cables charged my controller to max battery
