XIM4 Playstation 5

Hey everyone, I have mentioned on other threads in the past that XIM4 is have very little space left on it for any other than targeted critical bug fixes. The changes required to enable next gen consoles (especially PS5) is a substantial amount of code and will certainly exceed XIM4's limits. I know that isn't what you want to hear, but, it is true (believe me, it's not a excuse). Sorry about that.

Whelp, thanks for trying.  Glad I ordered an Apex for my PS5 last night but I can't help but feel nostalgic about the XIM 4.  It's just been such a great device all these years.  It's never given me a single issue over hundreds of hours of use and it even works great with PS4 games on my PS5.  Oh well, at least I'll be able to leave a dedicated XIM attached to my PS4 Pro while it collects dust in the living room haha.

OBsIV, best piece of advice to someone switching from XIM 4 to Apex?  Also, I read somewhere that you're done making new XIMs.  Is that true?

I have sold my ps4 and now I have ps5, but if my Xim4 is not expected to work anymore I will have to sell it too?
In the market there aren't any device working 100%. We have no alternative.

That's correct. We aren't working on future mouse and keyboard adapters at this time. XIM APEX was designed with more powerful processor and greater storage capacity as compared to XIM4 so it could be our mouse and keyboard product through future generations of consoles.

Just so everyone knows, at least any new people. You can still use your Xim4 on your PS5, with PS5 games, you just need a Titan Two.

Titan two in Spain costs 129USD. I think that is not an intelligent option if you need to buy it.

Well, if you want to use a XIM on your PS5 then picking up a XIM Apex is your only other choice. The Titan Two is amazing on its own, but, I can see not wanting to purchase one just to make your XIM 4 work.

Right now you need a 3rd party PS4 controller to make your Apex work. I have a Mad Catz Alpha fight stick that works. Head over to the Apex forums and look through the posts.

Si Its no fully functional with ps5. I will wait until xim apex will be compatible with ps5 controllers. I dont want to waste more money, xin4, apex...

• Just to confirm, if you want XIM4 to work with PS5, you need a Titan Two? Can someone share a link to the Titan Two?
• XIM4 + Titan Two is not officially supported on PS5 by xim.tech. Official xim.tech PS5 supported solution will be Apex

Surely if firmware coding for ps3,4 and xbox's was deleted there would be enough room for ps5 coding? people could have a choice to update to ps5 only firmware. Or is it you don't want to support PS5 on the Xim4 to force more sales on the Apex?. It seems like the latter is more likely.
