[Q/A] I'm confused about dpi
« on: 09:43 PM - 11/19/20 »
Looking through this sub and other places, most people recommend a DPI of 3000+ and say a lower or medium DPI is better. But people are saying that a 3000 DPI is low/medium which confuses me because PC players say that 400 is considered low and it's one of the most common DPI settings for pro players.

So does the DPI work different between xim and pc?

Yes. XIM will take advantage of every DPI you throw at it. Windows will not.

PC is hindered by Windows, which functions at a DPI of 400 by default, or the mouse arrow flies all over the screen. All PC game sensitivity settings are tuned to low DPI settings, which is antiquated.

Ahh okay that makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up
