That may be the problem. Can you tell us if you can reproduce the issue when not using XIM Link?

Aim keep moving by itself
Hi, I play with my controller in left hand and mouse in right hand so the problem I have is that if I turn to the right or left with the mouse and lift up the mouse, to movement will continue indefinetly. It stop when I move the mouse in another direction or if I move my left joystick. see in the video : https://youtu.be/AxmUgHm9ElU

I spoke with XIMGameplay on Youtube and this is what I have already did :

- try with different games (MW, Destiny, PUBG) same issue
- update my mouse firmware
- create a new config
- factory reset my xim apex and create new config (worked)  but when I restart my PC or Xbox, the issue come back
- try to factory reset and load an old version of the firmware (tried 2018 and 2019) same results than above

So every night I start playing, I need to factory reset the Xim Apex and create a new config for every games I play during that night.

Can you help me please or tell me where I can find help !

Thanks !

Thanks for that info, could you check the last response, is the issue happening when XIM Link is not connected?

We like to understand if you still have this issue if you aren't using XIM Link.

I'm having exactly the same issue with Destiny 2. I remember my xim apex works fine last time I used it.

My manager still shows the firmware and manager version is still a 2018 December version. Didn't update them or change any settings since the last time I used xim. Came back about a week later, and started having this rotation issue. No idea why.

We like to understand if you still have this issue if you aren't using XIM Link.

So I tried without the XimLink and I still have the issue. I need to factory reset and create my config every play time session.

Do I have some warranty with the product ?

Here my log the only thing I did is move the mouse to the right and it happen :

Thanks for sending the trace, your XIM is running perfectly. I don't think this is a XIM hardware issue (meaning it's very likely that a replacement wouldn't fix the issue).

It sounds like this happens consistently. If you go into a private match and only move your mouse (and don't touch your controller which you are saying you hold in your left hand), do you ever see the issue happening? The reason I'm asking about this is because normally when XIM's are used, the authentication controllers aren't generally used. We've seen reports of people having issues like this when they pick up their controller for vehicle control. Many times it's a bad USB connection on the controller itself. It would be great to hear if you can reproduce the problem without touching the controller at all.

Disconnecting the controller should make it so that you can no longer game. Are you saying that you disconnected the controller and could still game and reproduce the problem?

so just to do a little reminder.
I play Warzone on my PC with the Xim with my controller (slot 3) and my mouse (slot 1).
So tonight I opened my pc and launch Warzone. When I tried to move the mouse and lift it up, the rotation kept going.
When I touch the left thumbstick (movement) it stop.
So I unplugged my controller from the Xim and I'm still able to controle the mouse and have the same issue.
To be clear, when I unplugged the controller, it doesnt switch to MnK so it still the Xim movement I have with the mouse.
I factory reset the Xim and create again a config. Now it work as always.
The fact that I need to do that say to me that the problem is with the Xim. But I don't know the product like you guys.

I just try to plug it on my xbox before creating my config and it works well, its only when I plug the XIM on my PC that it does the issue. Like I said I had no issue since last april until 2 weeks ago.

Ah, that may explain it. No, you didn't mention this in your thread.

APEX isn't designed for PC and there are odd things that can happen when using it with a 1,000hz response rate. A 125hz response rate can be tested first. If testing, save after making the change and then reconnect APEX for the change to be active.

It's hard to say why this started to happen two weeks ago but if it doesn't happen on Xbox it must be PC related in some way, 125hz is a good place to start. If this helps then it would make sense to raise the response rate in increments to see how high it can be used while remaining stable.
