« on: 12:34 AM - 09/15/20 »
Everything was working fine a day ago but now it wonít. Everything shows to be connected in the app. Iíve tried unplugging everything, resetting my Xbox, and turning off my controller before plugging it in. Any solutions?

Welcome to the community. Please connect your controller directly to your XIM APEX (no hub) and plug into your console. Do you see the green initialization lights? If not, if you press the Guide button on your controller, do you see it then? If so, please try your setup again and press the Guide button after start up and let us know if you see the green initialization lights then.

Your controller isn't communicating over the cable and this will be needed for your mouse and keyboard to work. Hard resetting and unplugging the console for 60 seconds has been known to help with this but you've mentioned that you may have fully done this. Testing other data cables with the controller is the next step. In rare cases the issue can be from the controller itself, the micro usb port can wear away over time with use. If you have access to a PC this is a great way to verify the controller and cable's data ability. Here's how to do that.

Connect your controller to your PC. Wait a few moments for Windows to install drivers and prepare the device. Once finished press the Windows key and type 'game controllers'. Windows should point you to 'setup usb game controllers' from the control panel, continue to this selection. You should then see this screen.

Select the controller then click properties. You should then see this screen with a similar reference to a controller.

If you've made it this far you should see your controller actions in this window. Pressing buttons and moving the analog sticks will be visible as shown in this picture.
