8000hz razer mouse

So razer are releasing a mouse with 8k polling rate. I wonder if next gen controllers are higher than 800hz & if xim can take advantage of this

For the XIM its meanigless since it polls at 1000hz (independent from the controller polling rate so it wont matter if next gen controllers still run on 800hz or less). Also i doubt you can tell a difference between 8000hz and 1000hz given that you cannot tell any between 1000hz and 500hz.
As the person stated in the video it can be helpful to reduce button activation times but you dont need a 8000hz mouse for that but proper switches/activation registration plus maybe a software solution to avoid double clicks.

Until reviews are out and this turns out to be noticeable, which i very much doubt, its just a PR stunt to have another "big feature" they can advertise.

Maybe on native you cant tell a difference between 500hz an 1000hz but on xim if anyone says they cant tell a difference from 500 an 1000 then idk im just at a lost of words. They feel completely different. Ive never compared the 2 on native so i cant speak on that. People can talk numbers an stuff on paper all they want about well the human cant even bla bla bla if you play on xim hands down you should be able to tell a difference between 500hz an 1000hz

i can tell a huge difference personally on 500hz and 1000hz 500 is super smooth but so sluggy feeling i have to play on 1000hz
