Xbox Audio Cutting Out When I Move My Mouse
« on: 07:14 PM - 08/19/20 »
I've been using the Xim Apex while playing R6 and Hyperscape on xbox and I've noticed that my audio cuts out whenever I move my mouse. Now I have a really weird audio setup since I don't have an xbox compatabile headset I use xbox gamebar on pc for party chat and then the xbox companion to stream game audio to my pc. I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue or knows how to resolve it

Welcome to the community.

Xbox One is designed for 125Hz input, unlike PS4 which is designed to handle at least 800Hz.

Setting XIM APEX to 1000Hz Response Rate can cause garbled audio or dropped frames in some games on some Xbox One consoles, usually while in party chat.

Either set your XIM APEX to 500Hz (you won't notice any performance drop from 1000Hz, but may need to adjust Sensitivity), or enable Audio Compatibility Mode in your game configs in XIM APEX Manager.
