Ps5 & xim apex compatibility

what about ps5 and a ps4 game patched for ps5 (aka destiny 2)?
for now destiny 2 runs on ps5 like on ps4, but soon it will receive a massive patch for improved fps.

This will most likely be a PS5 version then as it wont be accessible for PS4 users, which is the big difference between PS5 enhanced games and PS4 games running on the PS5.
Though i could see the game not enforcing the DS2 controller, so until further infos are shared by Bungie its basically just a guessing game at this point .

I think that it is normal that it will take a while to get the XIM working perfectly on PS5.

I didnt preorder the PS5. I will buy one when the XIM will work for it.

Well looks like according to Mr. OBsIV the adapter won't be compatible with the dualsense to play ps5 games. Feeling bummed out about it but atleast i managed to sell my ps5 for 1900 yesterday night.

Yeah it's a similar story to ps4 it took a couple of months to get it to work, I have faith in the team and Obsiv, going to have to be patient .  I'll hold fire on buying a ps5 until I know xim works , its black and white for me. If it can't be done I'll buy the series x instead

yeah same here.. ps5 arrives on Thursday.. i'm really thinking about to swapping the ps5 for a xbox

I mean I love the XIM as much as the next guy (have been using them since PS3) but I wouldn't base my purchase on if it works for the console or not.

Same here, I'm stuck on Playstation but not for the brand, because all my IRL friends play on Playstation, slaughtering younglings on multiplayer is our poker night and I enjoy many of the exclusive titles.

If you can go on what ever console you wish, and you don't have a nice gaming PC; Xbox is the best choice.
