Oh yeah I forgot to mention that, yes it was.

Also, the Dual Sense eventually did work on the PS4, through using an 8BitDo adapter hooked through the Magic-S Pro adapter. But the touch pad or rumble did not work.

I didn't get a PS5 preorder unfortunately, but hopefully I can find one later on.

Yes I am aware, I want to use my XIM Apex on PS5 when I get one too. But you have to be patient and not rush OBsIV and his team. Relax. It will come

Edit: Plus, I imagine neither OBsIV nor anyone on his team has a PS5 or an Xbox Series X yet, it's gonna be a minute.

For using the XIM and those who need it off, I think agree it is good news. I will keep it on when I use the controller for other games though, personally.

That's interesting. Do you have a PS3? I saw that it's actually compatible with the new controller. Maybe that could work.

As awesome as that would be there is so much work that goes into something like this.
I will be absolutely amazed if it only takes a week.

yes .. but i just remember ... Cold War will be compatible with keyboard & mouse (native) without xim apex ? but lag input ....
   
previously, it was the case  (like fortnite)

but if it's the case, that means players with keyboard will play only Versus keyboard players ??

I'm not sure how matchmaking is done there. Some games separate based on input type while others based on skill. If input type, then using a XIM means you'll game against other controller players (and enable you to continue to game with your controller friends).

With some mice and keyboard models yes, there can be lag with the native input. It only seems to work well with very specific mice and keyboard models.
At least that is how it has been with the last CoDs.

Picking up a PS5 tomorrow morning (21 hrs away, but whos counting), first thing i will be doing is testing the XIM and will post here my results.
