Ps5 & xim apex compatibility

I don't know much about PS's remote play, but, I assume you do this through a PC? If so, you can use any controller for that (meaning, no authentication is done).

Actually the last time I tried remote play you had to have a PS4 controller(on my pc), wouldn’t let you do anything without it. That may have changed as it was over a year ago I tried it. Anyway another sign of good things is in that video he actually uses it with a ps3 also. So maybe good things.

It will be confirmed once XIM Tech has XBSX and PS5 consoles in-hand. No-one has them yet, ergo they can't be confirmed as compatible or not.

Thanks. What we are looking for is the new authentication protocol which will only occur when connected directly to a PS5.

Sony mentioned that only the PS5 controller will be suppoerted for PS5 exclusives.
I wonder how will that impact the Xim add-on/mouse/keyboard.

Did notice today in a video by sony that the controller still has the option of running wired or Bluetooth. Hopefully more good signs

is this with regard to the Dualsense? do you think that a ds4 will still work as it does now in games that support it?

personally i'm going to be grinding the hell out of D2 so I can wait for an update for ps5 exclusive games

They recommend you use a DS4 controller for PS4 games but the Dualsense would work on it.

any news ?? few people have the console already but unfortunally dont have xim apex probably 

do u think it's on the good way ? (the compatibility) i mean what is the worst case ? need update ? i hope we dont need to buy a new xim, it's already expensive to buy one ...

I picked up the Dual Sense today at my local NEX. I’m going to test it with the Apex and a Mayfly MAGIC-S PRO tonight so I’ll report back when I can on how it works.

No joy, unfortunately. I tried it (the MAGIC-S Pro) directly in the console and through all of the XIM Apex's ports, and the Dual Sense still did not work, nor did my mouse or keyboard (through the XIM). I had to try
