Sorry, I'm not sure why your keyboard isn't responding to troubleshooting. There are contradictions in the troubleshooting results that don't really make sense. Specifically these points:

1) The keyboard causes APEX to white light crash with direct connection to APEX (no hub)
2) The mouse and controller work normally with direct connection to APEX
3) The keyboard works with a PC
4) The keyboard worked with APEX in the past and there have been no changes.

These results don't align so it's difficult to say why this is happening but at this point testing another keyboard makes the most sense.

Have you tried swapping ports on your hub between your mouse and keyboard?

This is only happening when your keyboard is plugged in? You can plug your mouse directly into your XIM APEX (no hub), and it'll light up and be seen in Manager? And you can plug in your controller directly into your XIM APEX (no hub) and you get the green initialization lights when you plug your APEX into your console? But, if you plug your keyboard directly into your APEX you get a white light?

+ Keyboard works on a PC
+ Keyboard worked with APEX previously with no changes between then and now

BostonMadeLeo, what is the standard office keyboard model? There are a couple of popular models that aren't compatible.

Also, could you please try connecting APEX to the console with the APEX port empty then connect the standard keyboard to APEX without the hub. After doing this does APEX white light?

Thanks for confirming.

Looking through the thread again, when it was suggested to factory reset without restoring a backup and without restoring configs, were you able to complete this?  Aside from factory resetting with a completely fresh start I think we're out of troubleshooting steps. Your APEX may need repair, it shouldn't selectively ignore an input type but recognize others.

Thanks, I'm sorry that this hasn't been easy to fix, it just isn't behaving normally. I recommend having your APEX looked at for repair as this is happening with one peripheral type but not others, and troubleshooting has failed. To request a repair please use the appropriate link below.
