(Xbox and Ps4) Linear ramp 0 aim ease in config

So after playing with these settings for a day i went back to the original linear ramp curve, feels better to me. I see what others have said how this one feels floaty probably because of the boost.

Yeah seems like no one is doing the math to use custom curves along with my config either haha, i think i will make the ps4 and xbox curve without boost to see if it helps with the floatiness everyone keeps saying Ill still keep the original curve + boost if anyone does wanna add a custom curve, but ill also post the actual curve i got from doing the process lol... expect an update shortly

Are you sure it was all placebo that there's a tighter feel to the exponential curve? It genuinely felt more precise to me at longer ranges, but I'm not good at understanding all the calculations you do lol

No, im not 100% sure how the boost interacts with curves and stuff, so it could feel worse using boost instead of just the curve.

Do you use any 3rd party software for mapping/calculating with your curves?
I’ve been looking for a pc program where I can  export it into a ballistic curve code (other than manager on my iPhone 6 lol) mostly so it’s big enough to work with properly lol

Real quick summary of what i do, I use a app called "Video Stopwatch" on my phone and bind the right stick to my arrow keys. Then I hold down the arrow key to spin for like 3 minutes and record it to see how long it takes to do a 360 at that stick tilt. Then I use my phone calulator to do some math and plug the numbers into a desmos table in my phone. Then, once i make the curve with all my data, i use a exponential line of best fit equation to fit all the data points and then copy the values over to the xim ballistic editor by hand. I dont have any programs on pc or anything but i suppose someone could prolly build 1 if they wanted to lol

Intro

So guys, after logically thinking about how my xim curves work, i realized that using exponential ramp wont add any better micro movements because you are still jumping from 0% movement to 2%, then to 4% and so on so all expo does is makes it harder to track up close. The reason people thought exponential ramp was good is because a mix of the "placebo effect" and the fact that i used much more data to create the translation... However, this linear curve is actually a strait line so it is a very accurate 1:1 translation, and since it is a strait line that also means u can use other curves on top of this one!

Ingame settings

100 100 sens
linear ramp
0 aim ease in
0 smoothing
(aim assist is personal so experiment)
100% ashe ads sens (or if not using a aux use 61.4% for 1:1 movement)
66.7% widow/ana ads sens (or if not usint a aux use 45.2% for 1:1 movement)

How to use another curve with this config

So to use another curve, you will need to do some math. What you are going to do is paste the curve you want into a ballistic editor and copy all the data points down on a piece of paper in order from left to right. Now, multiply every single one of these points by (0.85 for xbox, and .90 for ps4) to get the new value you are going to enter into your xim ballistic curve. (for example, if my first point is 0 and my 2nd point is 3 in the curve i want to update, i will do the equation "3*.85" which equals 2.55, so now in the xim editor, my starting value will be 0, and my next curve value will be 2.55.).Repeat this process until you translate the whole curve into your xim editor, this will now look like a flattened curve, and will work the exact same was as if u used an official config

On a whim I decided to try this exact setup. I did have to change my sens but the aim assist is amazing! I’ve been playing with Hammond and the aim assist feels almost like an aimbot. I was 3200 SR this morning and broke masters after 5 hours.

I’ve tried a bunch of different config but this is by far the best for me.  It’s absolutely not placebo.

Hey GoodAimButATankMain, I had two questions if you don't mind

I was wondering if you know whether or not the new linear curve has the same problem with the mouse spazzing out when playing with SAB off

And also I was wondering if there was any update on the next curve, I think you said you were either going to do a new exponential curve with your newer knowledge of the game's aim mechanics, or you were going to remake the linear curve without boost. Just wondering.

Also it's cool if there's no update for a while or you're retiring. The last 2 curves are phenomenal and you've definitely given us all we need. But I guess I'm always hungry for more 1:1 perfection lol. Thanks again for making all these though

I didnt retire from making curves haha, but its also not a job and is very time consuming so I do it in my own time when i decide to if that makes sense haha. Im not done making curves I got requested to do fortnite next by a small youtuber so thats my next project.... but i also picked up a new hobby, cod waw custom zombie map creating on pc xD. The past few days ive been working on a minecraft map , but after it is done I will prolly give it like a week or so and then start working on my fortnite curve.
