Bedrock uses a different look mechanic than the old Edition versions of the game. Those versions had a surprisingly great mechanic.
There's nothing actually wrong with the new mechanic, it just has low turn speeds. If you prefer you could try the native mouse support by connecting your peripherals to the console instead as suggested by Timelord.
