my mouse has recently started to disconnect randomly i have had the xim for 6months and my mouse for 6 months and keyboard for six months any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the community. Could you please share your setup so we can learn more about the issue? Please include both the brand and model.

keyboard:
extras: extended usb cables, third party usb hub, usb switch, titan or cronus device?

In the meantime, testing other cables with the controller and another mouse if you have one would be helpful.

I have texted a new cable and a new mouse non has resolved the issue this is very frustrating

We could take a tracelog to see how your XIM is running, device and timing errors would appear in the log. The link below contains instructions on how to capture the log. Be sure to have the log window open while gaming. After the issue occurs please share the last 20-30 lines of the log in your message here. Note the instructions are the same for both XIM4 and XIM Apex.
