Using this setup my aim is floaty af. Feels like itís not responsive at all. How do yous get this result ?

It shouldn't feel like that at all. It feels really crisp and smooth to me. Are you you dialed in all the required settings?

Absolutely correct - the sensitivity is ALL about personal preference.

Anyone got any feedback about the best in game deadzone setting?

Like I said earlier I feel 0.03 is better than 0.02 but again I'm running a fairly steep curve at the 40 percent mark...your thoughts pls.

I used your 0.03 deadzone after you posted till now. My AX-50 headshots was not on point. I couldnt get my micro-movement on to be precise. Maybe it was all placebo or I just had some bad games. But that was my expierence.

Ok. I'll dial down my sensitivity and go back to 0.02. Nice 1.
Use Xim Apex for Rainbow Six Siege on PS4

Mouse: Logitech G903 HERO wireless set to 3200DPI
1000hz Mouse, 500hz in Xim App
Mousepad: Aukey Large Soft Mousepad
Keyboard: K66 Mechanical Keyboard

In game: all recommended settings ( but currently fiddling around with in game vertical sensitivity at 97 instead of 100 - still testing this continually),

Also in Game: Classic Rotation

Xim app: sync off, 500 hip, 375 ads, 2 smoothing, no curves, SAB OFF for HIP and for ADS

Xim Apex Firmware: 20200307
Rainbow Six Siege ST: 4.5

I got some good clips again after I started using 0.02  It can be my preference. I use the AX-50 with the longest barrel, TAC laser, Fast ads stock and strippled grip tape. I usually rush people with it and hitting headshots are extra important for me. I feel like I can adjust the reticle of my scope a bit better with 0.02. But I can imagine that if you got shaky hands, a higher value would be more appropriate.

is changing the curve the only way to change sensitivity? I lowered hip and ads to 300 and it felt better for me with just that change.

Not sure how I'm not understanding how to change sens. If I play warzone (60fps game) and I want lower sens I put slider between 62-100 and go up to 100%, correct?

Also I feel very little AA with this. I like a little bit more any way to adjust that?

Kinda noob at messing with configs and all that sorry.

Doing this because I myself was torn between configs for a long while.

I started with Gxnners config which is fluid and nice.

Swapped to this and liked it and then tried RML...

This is imo the best out of the three popular configs. It's very fluid - gives you a wee bit of AA to get to target but doesn't leave you in an overtly sticky bubble.

Thank you for this config.

I have been using my current config for 2 months now and got around  3.4k kills with 3.2KD. I found the config that feels crisp and dominates in short/medium/long range. I can do 180 and manage recoil, that are two huge pluspoints for me. First things first, I didn't come up with this config, a person named MJFame created it.

His (MJFame) post explaining everything: https://community.xim.tech/index.php?topic=65974.0
XIMGameplay on YouTube explaining the ST and showing every important step : https://youtu.be/GXHKx9CxH-U

This config is a bit unusual because you need to use 800 dpi and his (MJFame) settings to work it out. You adjust the sens by adjusting the curve. In short, the recommended settings:

XIM settings-

XIM - 1000hz
Mouse - 1000hz
DPI - 800

HIP SENS - 500
SYNC - OFF
SMOOTHING - 20
SAB - OFF

<<< XIM APEX END COPY <<<

ADS SENS - 500
Activation & Deactivation delay - 224ms
Smooth aim - Checked

SAB - OFF

This is my full config. I have been dropping multiple 20+ games with this config. I also made a highlight video that showcases everything I mentioned. Here you can see how good it works with quickscoping, lasering people and target snaps. It literally feels like aimbot sometimes.

PSA: You may not like the senstivity I use. To change it to your liking, you NEED to adjust the curve. No idea how to do that? Its explained in the 2 links I posted above. The youtube video from Odin actually shows step by step how to adjust it. Its pretty simple.

Glad you liked it. I am doing amazing with this config and my kills are growing fast. I already got 4.2k kills right now. Don't forget to stick to one config tho, you will train your muscle memory and will perform better.

Hi, this conf have a strong or a low win assist?

Off synch doesn't offer you the strongest aim-assist. It gives you way smoother aiming tho. That being said, I think the aim-assist is pretty strong. It doesn't let your corsair stuck on your enemy like you are dragging it thru mud. But it does allow you to laser people from distance. You should give it a try imo.

I have implemented this into any dpi. I shared it on RML MW shared config for his thoughts on it and for him to test. Feels identical hence the dpi change. This is amazing. MJ Fame is a legend.

This is very true. AA can be increased or decreased by adjusting the curve via ballistic editor. At 20k dpi I run it at HIP 50/100 and ADS 60/100 however it is very manageable. I like less AA that's why my gap is 10 notches apart. The big difference in this config is the 20 smoothing. Very important. This makes a better overall great experience in game. This may be my end game config.

I have read your post in RML thread. It sounds promising. My mouse runs upto 12k DPI so I could calculate that. Don't mind me asking, is there a benefit of using high DPI in this instance? I think I might test something with it. Also, MJFame said that smoothing between 15-20 is required. I still need to test if 15 smoothing would make any change.

If you would like to test this at High dpi I would just create another "new config" rename it "12k dpi" so that you don't mess or change settings in your current config. A higher dpi setting isn't always better but for some it can help your mouse respond to smaller movements and point at things more accurately. I have always ran high dpi and I am better with high dpi. I have tried both and seem to fall back on high dpi. This is my playstyle. You can always find out for yourself. Test it. If you don't like it you can fall back on your regular config. I have set and tried different smoothing values. 20 is best experience.
