XIMTweak (at least to me) shows that the real YXRatio of this game is around 1.75.  2.0 is too oval-like along Y axis while 1.5 is too oval-like along the X axis.  Using 1.75 seems to produce the best circle... as far as I can tell with the human eye, anyway.

I'm using this cfg at the moment. I've upped the primary sens a little so i can make easier 180's.

I pretty much feel like some kind of slow motion, matrix style, death dealing god with this cfg lol!

I know what you mean, a good config in Cod 4 makes you feel so much faster than anyone else. It is like slow motion. MATRIX FTW!

Yeah the snapping to the enemy is literally instant.

And even if i snap to say the legs or torso when i'm suprised , the abiltity to make that tiny adjustment of switching to face/head in less than a split second is always there (and nine time outta ten i do it automatically)

I always knew the xim360 was gonna be an improvement. I just couldn't get over how much of a difference it is.

I'm having a hard time making my own cfgs from scratch with the testing and tweaking even though i've got multiple pages of the forum open. So i may pm for tips soon :)

I think I'm missing something about the config.  In game I set sensitivity to 10 and aim assist off.. but it still seems to kind of move my cursor while in game to try and lock on to players?

Does this happen for anyone else?

This is normal, you cannot turn off the aim assist in COD 4. You can in COD WAW (I was amazed they had an option for it) so you will still experience that stickiness when you are sniping. As you sweep you will maintain speed, then slow down as it "sticks" to the target and once you get past it it's fine again. Yes a pain in the @#$%, but it's built into the game and there is no way to turn it off.

Hopefully that takes care of your question, it's a bummer but you learn to get used to it. I hardly ever notice it now.

I have not been on here in months. I need to re work all my configs since the new software is out, or do I? If it's automatic then maybe not? Hmm.

i know your just trying to be helpful, but dont you think that putting a xim1 config in a xim2 thread might be a little confusing to some??

Kinda in the wrong section flowzilla lol. Your post would be much more helpful in the XIM1 section. Someone who is looking for a config for XIM1 isn't going to check in the XIM2 section. Really no big deal, just would be more helpful elsewhere.
