[RESOLVED] XIM not registering!

I woke up this morning and wanted to play some r6 and I turned everything on and I could not do any thing and my controller would not turn on when plugged in and when it did I went to the XIM app and at the top it said nothing was connected please help

Welcome to the community. Let's try a console hard reset, this fixes a console wired controller recognition bug. Press and hold the power button on the front of the console for 15 seconds. Once off unplug the power cable to the console for 60 seconds. Reconnect the power cable and power on the console. Attach all peripherals to XIM then connect XIM to the console.

Note that removing the power cable while off has been reported as necessary by some users.

You haven't mentioned which XIM device you're using but assuming you're using APEX we should also check if the hub is responding to another device. Please check if your peripherals work with the hub connected to a PC instead of APEX.

I did all that and plug them in different ports the controller turns on by itself now so thatís fixed but the controller keyboard and mouse donít show on the XIM app and none of the controls are working and I am using the apex

Do you see any of your devices so up if you plug them individually directly into your XIM APEX (no hub)?

Everything lights up and stuff but donít work and when I plug it in the XIM with no hub it still donít show up in the app

They shouldn't function with direct connection but they should at least power on and show a device icon at the top of Manager. If this isn't happening please try moving APEX to another console port, verify that it's fully inserted into the port and repeat the test.

I changed to different ports and to onotger console and it still wonít show anything in the XIM app but it lights up everything

This can sometimes happen when APEX is making poor contact with the port it uses. If you have a short extension or a spare hub you could try this connection order:

console > extension or spare hub > APEX > three port hub > peripherals

If this doesn't help could you try factory resetting using the latest firmware?

I went out a bought a spare hub to try it and it did not work and I donít have a pc to reset it if I could can I just get another one and send this one back or something
