Some will still need to press the Guide button to start up the controller. It's a timing initialization thing that we need to track down.

Nothing has been made worse by this latest firmware concerning controller initialization. The problem has always existed and this firmware makes it better. But some may still have initialization issues so you still need to press Guide to turn on the controller and connect.

Newest firmware made a slight improvement on mine.
Before, in addition to hitting guide to turn on the controller, I would then have to move a stick or something on it once before xim would begin recognizing mouse or kb input.
Now I only have to hit guide.
