f'ing c---teases on xbl right now.
thought, hey, it's after midnight on east coast right? I should see if the beta is on xbl.
it's there and spotlighted but you need -1 points for it apparently. and that apparently works out to 4294967295 points... so. yeah. f'ing teases.

anyone east or central or europe i guess too, waiting on the OPEN beta starting tomorrow? if so, it being tomorrow where you are now, technically, do you have access to it? going to watch tube for another hour anyway so i guess I'll find out then but I'm curious now....

XBL updates after 2am PST, but it's hard to say if BF3 will be ready at this time because it's already partly released.

If anyones interested I thought id list the glitches ive found in my few hours of play on 360:

- fallen trees inside buildings all the time
- fell through the ground and got stuck there... Suicided to escape once
- lost ability to ads several times
- lost onscreen reticule not in ads several times
- sprint is wierd sometimes you have to stop all movement to sprint again... Im not sure if its a glitch or purpose
- reload animation stops working several times
- mcom station keeps its alarm going after blown up several times

Good call mate. These have all happened to me too. The worst is the ADS. Just lining up to kill someone to find you cant aim is very annoying. I think the sprint is supposed to be like that which does suck. Would be great if they did fix it though. The worst spot for falling in the ground is by one of the MCOM stations on the first segment. Me and 6 other of my team were in there AT ONCE. One of the other team fell in too and we just couldnt kill him, he kept shooting everyone for under the ground.

Glitches aside I have thourighly enjoyed my early access to the beta. The game vastly improves with the newer guns and better attachments. The first guns with the iron sights makes it too hard to view anything imo. As Amak also said the hit detection is a little random at time but in general the game seems to be lag free. Just be prepared for long waits to get a game and getting kicked now and again.

My KDR is still terrible. Im normally in the top 2 or 3 players. Remember this isnt TDM, if you're on the winning team with a high score then you're doing something right even if your KDR is low. Yes I am making excuses ;)

Graphically it is what you would expecting from an ageing console. We were spoilt with amazing PC videos. Some nice touches but some downright ugly parts.

A day 1 buy for me, will pre-order soon. Will be interesting to see how many glitches are fixed and how vehicles are implemented. Hope there is a bit more destruction too.

I hope I can run it on PC at some decent settings.
My basic PC specs are:
i7-930 Overclocked to 3.3ghz
6GB Triple channel ram
Geforce 470 gtx 1280mb
EVGA mobo, ect..

This should be plenty I hope.

Friends>platform. Personally I get use to graphics good and bad very quick & friends are what gaming is about. I've got access to a beast of a PC and I wont be touching this on PC simply due to playing with friends.
