i just bought a xim apex when i hook it up the xim adapter powers the usb hub for 2 sec then shuts off when i have my mouse keyboard and controller in

Welcome to the community. Can you please try your hub out on a computer with your mouse and keyboard plugged into it to verify that's all working correctly? If so, please connect your controller directly to your XIM APEX (without a hub) to verify your controller starts up and initialized correctly.

yes it works with hub just fine on my pc but when its plugged into my xim apex it only works for a sec then stops working

controller does the same thing as the hub stays on for a sec then shuts off and only does this when i unplug the xim apex in and plug it back in

Are you on PS4? Are you certain your controller is fully charged? If so, do things work if you don't plug in your keyboard?

controller i fully charged and got same results seems like the xim apex gets a surge of power and works for a sec yes im on ps4

when i first got it worked no issue then bam for a sec it wasnt even giving power to the usb hub now it is but isnt staying connected to my kb , mouse , and controller ive reset my playstation plugged the apex w hub and etc into pc to see if it was my ps4 same results

So you can't plug a single device into your XIM APEX without the hub and have it stay powered on?

Ok, so it sounds like a physical connection issue. It sounds like you just bought your XIM APEX. Where did you buy it?

Unfortunately some third party sellers are reselling returned units. If this is returned to Amazon there's a good chance it will be resold to another person.
