Sorry, there isn't a plan to support the Elite 2 on XIM4.

is it such a huge deal to support a test winning gamepad, when its support is apparently coming for APEX?

i bought the xim4 last year because the amazing support was pointed out everwhere, and one year later my device doesnt get support for new peripheral? that seems disappointing

XIM APEX already supports this because it still has space for features. The Elite 2 needs the addition of a new driver which XIM4 doesn't have space for.

I'm sorry you feel this way. XIM4 has been out of production for 2 years and we never stated that we'd support anything other than the controllers that come with the console for authentication. For cross console, we are explicit concerning what we support via our product documentation at time of purchase and made no statement on compatibility of future controller products. Also, as I stated, even if we wanted to, there is no space on XIM4 to support it.
