xim to xbox keyboard function

is it possible to use the keyboard as an actual keyboard while still using the xim? like if i wanted to send a message to someone and have xbox recognize the keyboard without having to unplug it and plug it in? sometimes my xbox recognizes i知 using a keyboard while using my xim apex. it痴 plugged in at all times. i知 new to this but it would be a nice feature if possible

You have to use it the exact same way that you would with a controller if you wanted to type a message being that it's an emulator. But your suggestion would indeed be nice for a future feature.

No it's not. When using XIM your keyboard is simulating the controller buttons. But it might be working if you have an USB switch from your keyboard that splits into 2x USB iindividual ports, one to the XIM and one direct to one of the USB ports on your console. I do think this will work if you use a USB splitter that you can switch to the input you want. I'm not really sure about this but it sounds like it should function.
