Good evening,

I also have tried the new ST for XIM and I can say that it is working only on legacy settings - on.

On previous ST and new ST the advanced settings are unplayable. For example - if I ADS in the distance and slowly move the cursor horizontal, it moves like shaky waves. It is very hard to aim.

If I turn the legacy settings on - the cursor is very precise and is not waving or shaking. To be honest, I see no difference in previous and new ST. Maybe on new ST the aim is a little bit more precise, but only on legacy settings on.

This is my experience.

Can someone please explain to me why it was trained on expo and not linear???? Linear is literally perfect for mouse and key, why interpolate with expo. Ugh.

Does anyone know how do I downgrade to previous software?

I can now say, the aim is very bad. It is very hard to aim precisely. When I ADS in a far distance, the cursor moves in a zigzag motion..

I'm really confused why everyone is having such an issue with this ST it literally feels better than it ever has.  Maybe I just have the right settings at 16000 DPI and 10.0 sens.  I even went back to the old ST and tried it with legacy settings and its night and day between the new ST.  Aim Assist is great not to strong and tracking is almost perfect.  Maybe a higher DPI is the answer for those who are having issues.

Hello.

Yes I am also confused why I am having problem with the new software. I am wondering what might be the problem.

As I already mentioned earlier, when I ADS far in the distance, and very slowly move the cursor, I can see that it is moving in a zigzag motion. If there wouldnt be the aim assist, it would be impossible to hit a shot in a far distance :(

Personally really liking the new ST. I've been hitting crazy shotgun flicks and absolutely melting people with AR.

in case anyone is interested I've found that Default sync, 1000hz, 12K DPI to be my favorite so far. Very vanilla I know but man it feels great with the advanced settings.

That was my experience with the old ST while using advanced settings but once I uploaded new ST it got a whole lot smoother.  So make sure you have the right ST and configure a new profile not just copy and paste.  Other than that I don't know what settings, DPI, or sens you use so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Dpi shouldnt affect ain assist in my opinion...hertz an sync will...idk how people use default i get orange hit markers so much with default. Not to mention its for 120fps fortnite is 60fps so ur basically using something not in sync with game to me means some errors or inconsistencies could happen. New st i like cause doesnt seem like as much acceleration as old one but im still using old st with legacy so i can beam people far away. New aim assist = no auto rotate to character and aim assist actually doesnt even work as far away as legacy and another con no edit mode aim assist if you use it

Im assuming it was to hard for the devs to make the st for linear but that woulda an shoulda been the way to go for most mouse like movement. Exponential is more controller like with delay an acceleration. Linear is more instant an no acceleration idk why they did it on exponential im assuming to difficult or maybe not possible not sure

because for the smart trainer it doesnt make any difference if an aim mechanic is exponential or linear. the smart trainer will level the mechanic to a linear behavior anyway. what matters though are all the other aspects that the aim mechanic has, especially the flaws. and in that regard the exponential one seems to have less flaws which overall results in better mouse movements. thats why mist picked it over the other mechanic.

just because an aim mechanic sounds better on first sight doesnt mean it actually is :).

How do you increase scope sensitivity with new ST?

So basically we have to use exponential which has acceleration?. That doesn't make that much sense to me when linear doesn't have acceleration. Pretty sure the  "temporal acceleration" was the main issue with Fortnite so why still use exponential? Any chance @Mist could chime in as to why this is since he is the only one that makes the ST's? Also the Aim assist on the new settings are straight trash. Would of been nice to have a ST for Legacy for those who want the old Aim Assist to.
