[RESOLVED] My Xbox one controller wonít connect to my xim apex manager  (Read 142 times)

I just bought the xim apex a month ago but my controller wonít connect to my manager
When I plug my controller to my xim it vibrates but it doesnít turn on.
Iíve tried everything from different usb cords to hard resetting my Xbox
Iíve even tried different controllers. Can somebody plz help me I donít want the xim to be a waste of my dads money.

Yes I do have a genuine xbox controller. And about my firmware on the manager it says my firmware is outdated but when I plug my xim apex to my computer it says itís up to date.

I do believe that there is a connection with xim and the controller because if I take the batteries and connect the controller to the xim while itís connected to the Xbox.The controller still works.

No I donít see the button presses I also donít even see the controller icon next to my mouse and keyboard on the manager.

Please pull the batteries from your controller and plug it in directly to your Xbox with the same USB cord you've been using. Does the controller turn on by itself and is also functional when directly connected to your Xbox? If so, then do you get the same behavior if you use different ports to connect your controller to the hub?

No the controller does not turn on and is not functional when connected to the Xbox but does make a rumbling noise.

Ok thanks for testing that. Either your controller's USB port or your cable you are using to connect your controller is faulty.
