Oh Markie if you want you can have some switches I have a lot of them and you spare yourself the desoldering. Just pay me 0,50€ per piece and postage (100 keys 50 euro Cherry KB).  I would just throw 20 in a jiffy and send them.

I'm in, a hundred keys  :o > that's productionwork  ;D
I'll pm my e-mail so we can figure out the Paypal/adress thing.

p.s. my wife is starting to dislike you  ;)

Wait Markie on geekhack forum I can swap 40 of the black stem cherries for 40 brown stem cherries and make 40 red cerries. They are called red ghetto cherries LOL. You can have 14 of those for your N52te. Is that good? If you want black ones I have to count how much are left.

Not really educated in the cherry sciences, this all sounds very strange.

Oh I never used those cherries but I want to try them. They say they feel best for gaming.

wow, very impressive!!

One other little detail you can mention, is after you have the mounting board dremelled, you can hit it with a quick coat of flat black paint so that you don't see the white in between the keys.

Yeah thatís possible, you can also leave it white get some translucent keys so they glow blue. I wont do that not worth the money imo.

If someone buys a Cherry for this mod then please advertise the other 88 switches you will not need in this thread so others don't have to buy a whole keyboard for this. You can also try to exchange combine brown and black stem keyboards. My keyboard is already almost completely split up here with Silent and Markie.

Added the optional thumbkey mod in the first post. Whats the best command on that key? I cant think of something useful there as I have to stop moving.

Tutorial modified, the middle pole on the bottom of the switches can and should stay. If the pole is removed the key function can be altered as the middle stem comes out.

You can keep the small pcb that shows the profile status if you do the mod of the button below the D-pad. The cherry switch is elevated by a millimeter but you can still use the analog mod well if you angle the key a bit when hotglueing it in.

Hey roads, i'm really not experienced with soldering or modding things.....But the mod for this looks amazing. Do you think here would be any way i could buy the parts and pay you to do this for me? I would do it myself but i'm afraid i'll just break something, and waste 80$ or more.
