Destiny 2 plays differently than most games so configs that work well for Fortnight, COD, Battlefield etc. may not feel so great on Destiny 2. It must also be stated that preference is an important factor to consider. What feels good to others may feel terrible to others.

With that being said there are two general preferences for Destiny 2 configs. Generically speaking, High DPI-Low Sensitivty gives you a feeling "closer" to that of PC gaming. It does so by lessening the "stickiness" of aim assist in the game. On the other hand is Low DPI-High Sensitivity, which tends to enhance the "stickiness" of aim assist and therefore moves you "further" away from PC gaming feel.

Some players cannot stand strong aim assist as they feel less accurate. In some instances there is an "aim assist bubble" that can prevent you from moving your reticle onto an enemy target. Others don't mind the "aim assist bubble" because when your reticle is on an enemy target, it takes more effort to move off of the target. Again, it comes down mostly to personal preference.

Follow this link to RML's D2 configuration if you're not already familiar with his work. It's a great starting point.
