Anyone use G305 w/ Xim4 or Xim Apex?

Considering buying G305 and using it w/ Xim4 but i wonder if anyone here uses it and does it work well with xim or no

I use the G305 on XIM Apex, but haven't tried it yet with XIM 4. It's my favourite current mouse and has incredible battery life.

The only downside is I'm not 100% happy with the scrollwheel, it felt better on the wired G Pro and G303.

I switched from the G Pro wireless to the 305 wireless, also used a lithium battery and a AAA battery instead of AA. Little plastic converter (for even lighter weight). I also have a 3d printed battery cover with the weight reduction holes in it, that comes in the mail tomorrow, pretty excited for it! I loved the G Pro Wireless as well but I couldn’t get consistent 1k hz polling with it.. :/ but for a g305, I think the shape fits my hand better and it uses the hero sensor, now it will be lighter than the G pro Wireless, and it was a fraction of the cost.

I went back to XIM4 for a month (just to have a contrasting performance difference vs Apex) on that time I used G305 only.

Is 100% compatible, no problems whatsoever all programmable buttons works too.

I'm probably going to grab one of these in September as well given the positive responses for it. I already have a G610 and a G810 keyboard, so I'm set for KB.

Purchased a G305 yesterday at Best Buy and you guys are right. This is the best mouse I’ve used. Better than G Pro wireless, G Pro wired and G903. Love the shape and click on G Pro wired and I’m happy I can now have that in a wireless mouse.
