ESDF vs WASD. Go.

ESDF vs. WASD. Which is the superior movement control setting? I'm thinking about going ESDF when I get my Apex in December. My index finger will always naturally want to rest on the F key, and I just can't get into WASD. Maybe if I do it for a couple of days, I'd get used to it, but I usually go with what's more comfortable for my hand position.

I was just thinking about this earlier, and was just curious what the over all community used for their movement key bindings. Thought this would be a bit of a change of pace from all the constant focus on console fanboys being mad and faced with the possibility they might not be as good as they think they are.

I was ruined back in the days of quick. WASD or versions of it were not the norm for everyone. My roommate who actually had a computer used maps to move forward Emma is backwards And other crazy stuff like that. I got so used to it I never changed.

I have tried WASD and just doesn’t seem to work for me

WASD.

Dont want to change in every game all bindings.
Many ppl think you have more keys for use but thats wrong. You have in both directions the same amount and everything behind the next row is anyway too far for fast movement. In Shooters in my opinion defnetly no advantage at all. Just a question of your own style.

ESDF, or in my case IJKL, provides an extra column of keys to the left of the board, which gives your pinky something else to do.

WASD for me. My pinky has enough work to do with Caps Lock, Shift and Ctrl.

I used to be UHJK on Keyboard.

Pinky has more keys
Thumb can access Space and Right Alt.

Now, with the Orbweaver, the D-Pad gives me more keys from the thumb.
