COD blackout New looting update

I am having a hard time with the new looting update since you have to use all D-pad buttons. Does anyone have a good configuration to the new looting system?

I'll have to double check but I'm pretty sure I set mine up as mouse scroll wheel up and down as dpad up and down. And the side buttons mouse forward and back to left and right. I only played like two matches since the update so that might not be correct but I'm pretty sure that's what I did.

I set my D-Pad to:

^ - Home
v - End
< - Delete
> - Page Down

Takes your hand off your mouse but I find it’s much more direct than mouse buttons

there needs to be a way to point with the mouse to loot. can you do that?
