ooOOooh! Do I detect an annoyed OBsIV? You don’t see them very often!  ;)

Yes, was it obvious? :) I hate developing anything for Apple products because they have this constant need to control absolutely everything -- even if it doesn't benefit anyone. For example, just this month during one of the TestFlights I was rejected because out of nowhere Apple decided to demand I make a video showing Manager running on an iPhone and how it works. This is for an app that has been available their store for 2 years! Now all of a sudden they want me to drop everything going on to make them their own personal instructional video? I have so many examples of this. Like all the way back before we supported iOS I needed to know if I could use a Bluetooth Classic interface called "RFCOMM" to connect Manager to iOS (like we did for Android and PC at the time). They wouldn't answer me because it was "propriety information" and I would have to join their MFi program by formally registering our business with them and paying $150 for them to answer me. I decided to do it since it would save a ton of development time if we could access that interface. So, after several months (and $150) they finally got back to me. Know what they said: "Nope, you can't use RFCOMM". Instead of just telling that up front, they made me go through all this nonsense for nothing (which is why we have to use Bluetooth LE even though it's slower and switched Android for XIM APEX to reduce development burden). Trust me, I can go on and on.

And this is why i will never develop apps on ios, jeez man i feel bad for ya, they are really money hungry for everything

Apple seems to not approve of mnk on console either lol Alright did you guys see that the developers of Apex Legends actually stated that they will be starting a low key detection for xim users in the near future or it might even be goin on now. So im not sure if i want to know the outcome of there decision on how they will use the detection. How much SAB should we be using to stay undetected on apex legends boss?

One question Im on beta firmware 07. I want to upgrade to this new one but will my saved configs disappear?
still have 4.3 and the 4.4 Rainbow Six config (that I know many wants back) as well as the newest st 4.5 on my phone. If I upgrade to the new beta do I get to keep my profiles? Really dont want to loose my R6 4.4 config.
it didn't with me,  I had the option to update manager so all configs are there.

Well for what it's worth, I can't seem to be able to run the tool as it just hangs up my PC.

All other beta versions that I have saved all works immediately. This version seems to give me a spinning circle and i have to restart my Windows Explorer.

Really? It's strange since I tested it. I'll check it out.

Yes sir, did it several times, and even restarted my laptop.

All version starting from 20190320 all the way to 20190702 works fine but 20190719 hangs up.

Let me know, I already installed the 64bit version for Android and that didn't have any issues. Of course, I can't fully test till I can get the same version on my XIM Apex.

Ok, hold up. Here is something weird. So before I started this process, I did stick the XIM Apex into the USB before launching the tool. (That's when I got all the hang up).

When I was about to give up and wait for your assessment and response. I took the XIM Apex out of my laptop and I was like let me see if I can launch the tool now. Well, all and behold, the tool launched.

I immediately plugged the XIM Apex back in (with blue light) and backed up and updated the firmware.

I don't know what is going on but now the tool seems to be working fine.

Honestly, I think I had run into the same issue with some of the other firmware. I think whenever I plug in the XIM Apex first and then launch the tool, I would get a hang up. It seems like this is for first time launching a new version of the tool.

Let me know if you find out what is going on with this mystery.

OK. I get it, Apple is a PitA. Shame, ‘cos they make a great phone. But I do get your frustration.

Would it not be worth going back to the non-smartphone days of just updating via PC? Or even via the console?

Can you try a different port on your PC? Also, if you have additional anti-virus running on your PC other than the built-in one, can you try disabling it?

Played apex legends for an hour now on the new firmware
(5.00.20190717) (IOS) and it feels great. Haven’t found any complains yet. Will test Siege later.

Also playing Apex Legends with firmware. Did a factory reset to install it to start with a fresh config. I’ve not noticed any bugs or differences with the prior firmware, I don’t think I ever had a problem with my config being corrupted though. Any issues that I am experiencing I believe are related to the game itself rather than the XIM. I did initialize my PS4 to essentially factory reset it. I have noticed some performance increase since doing so.

My overall opinion is, if there are no bugs reported with this firmware then I agree that it is the release candidate. I like having the ability to fine tune SAB with off, 0, or other desired value.
