I personally prefer 65 SAB for infinite warfare. I'm testing 35 for apex legends. Right now I'm at a 7.1 on infinite warfare. But the account that I'm using is an alternate. My original kd was a 3.5.

Well, if it’s that good it might finally give me a reason to update from whatever FW it was that introduced sync options. I haven’t touched mine since then as I didn’t feel like making the XIM more complicated than it already was, but if SAB can give me this fabled “analogue aim assist” I’ve been hearing about for years but never particularly seen the need for I’ll give it a try

If you're doing good without it. I would probably leave things as they are. But, I enjoy and appreciate SAB so I wanted to share my experience. I switched to the Sony nav because the first few versions didn't have much affect. But, this is much much better.

What are your apex settings for the xim? Dpi and all? 65 SAB seems so high yes no?

65 is actually the recommended SAB for the call of duty series. Everything is normal as far as you being able to Sprint in a straight line without veering off to the left or right due to too much SAB. When you go above 65 for COD you'll began to feel it. And the closer you get to 100 the more your character will began to feel as if he's drifting. I think 64-80 is okay. But I usually go with the recommended to be in the safe side. Each game has different values that function well for its smart translator. Overwatch, for instance, works well with any value up to 125 from my experience. Some people have stated using 150. I usually start at 65 and either go up until I find the max. But, ultimately it's your preference that matters.

I came from the Xim 4 so I use 125 hz on the Xim specifically for Infinite Warfare, I've lowered my mouse polling to 500 hz and I run a mouse sensitivity of 14 on hip and ads. My SAB is at 65 with an in game sensitivity of 18 instead of the recommended value of 20. It works for me. Im always in the air on every single kill. I never touch the ground unless I drop shot. I play like a pure maniac lol. But, the speed of this setting will allow you to laser everybody.  My dpi is 12,000. THIS IS SPECIFICALLY FOR KEYBOARD. It will be way too fast for nav users.

For Black Ops 4 competitive and Pub I use 65 SAB. To see the affect play one match without 65 SAB and then play with 65 SAB and you will see how well the Aim assist works with your keyboard and the new firmware.

Tests like those really outline how much has changed since then, usually the changes between two beta firmwares are rather small and not that noticeable. That way you get to experience the combination of all changes since then.

I personally use SAB on both hip and ads for a complete simulation of a controller experience when using a keyboard. Others choose not to use it on hip. But for my configs and what I like to achieve I have to always equalize.

When in doubt try it both ways😊. I use hip about just as much as I use ads. And I strafe left and right with both aiming aspects. So it makes sense to use it on both. If you barely use hip fire and main kills with ads. It may not be necessary for your hip. You may not even need it at all . A lot of people don't like it. The only way to find out is a little trial and error.
