This Beta build is no longer valid, please upgrade to latest.

Changes since the last Beta: This Beta further adjusts Simulate Analog Behavior to match behavior of the current retail firmware build when the value set to 0. It also adds the ability to turn Simulate Analog Behavior completely off. To do so, press '-' on the Simulate Analog Behavior value when editing your Config in Manager until it shows 'Off'.

iOS USERS: DO NOT upgrade your firmware until you see this version of Manager show in TestFlight. iOS Manager users must wait for Apple to approve all builds.

IMPORTANT: This build requires you use both the firmware and Manager versions specified here in order to access all features. If you aren't using both firmware and Manager, you won't see the new features in Manager. Please use the links below.

This is a build that, based on community request, brings in the Boost setting and Steady Aim experimental test feature from XIM4. It also includes a new feature for keyboard users: Simulate Analog Behavior. These are advanced features that should be used with caution as they can negatively affect aiming performance if not used correctly. This build also includes a new subconfig Deactivation Delay feature for games that require it and Customizable Walk Speed for keyboard movement.

● Steady Aim: Unlike Smoothing which produces uniform mouse stabilization, Steady Aim forcibly restricts mouse movement into discrete values. Higher values produce a stronger effect. Located under Aim expert settings.

● Boost: Boost artificially inflates the game's aiming stick dead zone. Be advised that values too large will significantly degrade micro-aiming performance. Located under Mouse expert settings.

● Simulate Analog Behavior: For keyboard users, outputs controller values similar to that of the gamer using a thumbstick. Higher values produce a stronger effect. Located under Movement expert settings.

● Deactivation Delay: Similar to a subconfig's (such as ADS) Activation delay, a Deactivation delay waits for the specified time before it's longer active. Located under each subconfig's Activation settings.

● Deactivation Priority: Prior to this change, when a subconfig is no longer active, return to Hip settings occurs. Now, if there is a subconfig between the active and Hip that is currently activated, it is selected (rather than Hip).

● Customizable Walk Speed: When using a keyboard for movement a walk modifier can be applied to slow movement. This change allows the walk speed to be customized. Located under Movement expert settings.

Probably off topic but:

With Simulate Analog Behavior OFF , Fortnite is not playable at all. Scrolling through the menu is horrendous. while in game the aim is somehow slow and sluggish ..

Second to that, Simulate Analog Behavior OFF, shows me a value of 200.

I will have to try the default ones and report back once I finish the test.

Hi OBsIV

I have three questions about Simulate Analog Behavior that I need to help.

1.If I don't enable aim-assist, should SAB choose 0 or OFF or other value?

2.If I enable aim-assist, what is the effect of higher SAB values? More AA or less AA?

3.I guess SAB value of each game may be different. How can I find the right SAB value through testing?

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks!

SAB effects movement, not aiming...
It is only for players with keyboard movement. Analog joysticks do not apply.

So then my question is for people using an azeron or nav controller what should we do with this value, leave it at 0 turn it off? just would rather not have this affect me in a negative way for no reason.

It is completely useless for analog users. I would say turn it off.

It has no effect on 200, off or anything in inbetween whilst using a nav as i understand it.

Your input in analogue

This effects the digital movement keys which u dont even need to input on the manager when using a stick.

That's correct. By default SAB is 0 which is "minimum", not off. Fornite does't function correctly with it off (neither does PUBG as I understand).

The reason I added this is because there are some users that say they can still feel a "disconnect" such as in CoD. Now, SAB at 0 is minimal effect, but, they are still claiming they can feel it so I felt it made sense to allow it to be turned off altogether.

Can you explain what you mean about showing "200"? If you are at 0 and you press '-' to adjust the value lower, it does't say "Off"?

Now if you are actually setting Fornite to 200 SAB (not off), then that could explain your experience too -- that's way to heavy of SAB.

Is the SAB feature with this beta firmware just for testing purposes? Just wanted to say I love that we can opt for SAB to be ON or OFF.

I know there has been talk to do with how semi-auto guns play but just wanted to add that SAB OFF with The Division 2 is more friendly with scrolling through inventory and navigating the map.

I mean this beta feels alright but i think previous beta was a bit  better dont know how to explain not much help from me but still I thought I have to  write a review :)

Now if you are actually setting Fornite to 200 SAB (not off), then that could explain your experience too -- that's way to heavy of SAB.

I mean if I set the SAB off in XIM manager (PC version) , and then check with older Manager on my phone, it is displayed 200 as a value.

All in all, I tested it with "0" and seriously I can say that the game feels much better than the last firmware. I can build faster and it doesn't seem to feel slow...not sure how to explain it but, even in the fast, it feels like
"when you are running, and someone is dragging you back somehow, slightly"
Now everything feels snappier, so far I like it!

** To note that I have NOT used SAB at all on my previous firmwares. I had to test with the option off and see how it feels, but I find it slow in building and sluggish in drawing. But with it at "0" works perfect much better than previous ones for some reason...:D

I am voting for releasing this one to retail! Hopefully everyone else who had to test this would give it a GO as well.

Thanks OBsIV  for the continuous support.

Obsiv I'm using like suggested  sab off. I'm not saying this build is bad but I think movement a bit different. If u could get movements from previous build and no gun jamming from this build it would be spot on . Anyway I will be testing all this weekend so I'm gonna play different games aswel so will see.
