Can you try a different USB cable between your controller and XIM?

I can't at this time. Im using a charging cable that came with one of my older galaxies phones it works fine when hooked directly to my console. Could this be the problem?

Btw the controller works when hooked to the xim4 with no batteries in the controller and with batteries

Charging cables typically only have power running through them, no data.

You was right. Bought a cheap $3 cable and now it works perfectly.

Thanks for the help.
